「07年国会提出、改めて意欲＝消費税上げで－谷垣財務相」

　谷垣禎一財務相は19日夕、2006年度予算案に関する省議を開いた後の記者会見で、07年の通常国会に消費税率引き上げ法案を提出するとした持論について、「骨太の方針や（衆院選時の）わが党のマニフェスト（政権公約）を一番すらっと解釈すると、以前に申し上げたことになる」と述べ、持論の実現に改めて意欲を示した。
