The origins of 'nostalgia' are surprisingly clear: in 1688, a Swiss medical student submitted a thesis to the University of Basel. The original title is as follows.

"Dissertatio medica de nostalgia, oder Heimwehe".

LILIUM: ラテン語によるアニソン／ LILIUM: The anime song written in Latin （１）

　おそらくアニメ史上唯一のラテン語によって書かれたアニソンがあります。そのアニメは、『エルフェンリート』（2004年CS放送、原作者：岡本倫、監督：神戸守）のOPソングの「LILIUM」です。作詞・作曲・編曲は、小西香葉／近藤由紀夫の両氏（ユニット名、ＭＯＫＡ☆）です。アニメにおける美しく凛々しいボーカルは、野間久美子さんでした。

　放映後、サウンドトラックが別売されていなかったのですが、耳コピされ、世界中でカバーされるに至っています。そこで、原作者たちが、オリジナルのコードとメロディで混声合唱で２０１６年に発表したＣＤが下記です。
