　過日、年中行事ともいうべき、ノーベル賞の報道がありました。今年こそは、日本人受賞者がいるか、という、ま、オリンピックの金メダルの数を競うのと同じ、ナショナリズム的競争心の然らしむところなのでしょう。一方で、ノーベル「経済学」賞と通称されるものもあります。正式名称は、「アルフレッド・ノーベル記念経済学スウェーデン国立銀行賞」といいまして、自然科学のノーベル賞とは全く別物ですし、この賞のおかげで、「経済学」が物理学なみの「科学性」を獲得したのか？、といえば勿論そうではないでしょう。

Rose petals in the canyon

峡谷に薔薇の花弁を

「・・・・。私は友人に、書くということは、深い井戸に石を落として、水しぶきが聞こえるのを待っているかのようだ、と言ったことがある。だが友人は、それは違うと言う。彼によれば、書くということは、グランドキャニオンにバラの花弁を落とし、爆発を待っているようなものだ、と。」(1)

さて、僕もこうして、一枚の花弁を投げ込むことができた。ゆっくりと爆発を待とうではないですか。
